Send your boat steering repair to us or stop by and we’ll repair or replace it. We do it all to factory specifications and our technicians are factory trained. We have the latest diagnostic equipment and make sure your system operates as new. We’ll get you back on the water fast.

When we receive your helm or cylinder, we bench test it for functionality. If we determine your helm or cylinder needs repairs, we completely disassembled it.

• We identify the worn and damaged parts.

• Our technician determines the cost of parts and labor time.

• We then call you with a repair estimate & costs of possible replacement units.

If you decide to let us repair your marine steering:

• We will replace worn and damaged parts.

• Our technician will clean your unit and reseal and reassemble it.

• Pier 21 Steering will then bench test it to assure conformance with factory specifications.

Should you decide not to have your marine steering repair done:

• We will give you the option to purchase a “like-new” helm or cylinder replacement if one is available.

• If you decline both repair and replacement, we will return your original unrepaired helm or cylinder.  A $45.00 inspection fee, plus any shipping will be charged.
